DC Dosa was born out of the original and authentic South Indian dosa and chutney recipes handed down by Priya Ammu’s family. Dosas are rice and lentil-based crepes stuffed with a variety of fillings and are an immensely popular Indian street food staple. Dosas are naturally vegan and gluten free. While seemingly simple to prepare, they require technique, timing, and a well-developed palate to be done right.
Jennifer Jones executes the culinary direction of Cosmopolitan Plated. Drawing inspiration from hours spent in her grandmother’s Atlanta kitchen, she develops recipes and food pairings that are engaging, while healthily indulgent. Currently, she can be found sharing her passion for food and entertaining around the Washington, DC area – preparing menus and teaching at intimate, themed food events.
