We started Kam & 46 to share the flavors and comfort of the meals we grew up with—food that tells the story of family, memory and togetherness. Small Kine is the next step in that journey. The name comes from a simple phrase that means “just a little or little bit,” and that’s exactly how we like to do things—with humility, in small ways that make a big impact.

Our space at Union Market is cozy—just enough room for us to cook, serve, and connect with the people around us. Staying small allows us to focus on what matters: serving comfort food with pieces of our story and culture, staying close to our community and celebrating the little things that create the biggest impact.

So yes, we’re Small Kine—but to us, every bit of support from our families back home and our community is Big Kine.
