Mark your calendars — Umbrella Art Fair returns this November and is taking over 19,000 sqft of space at the Plaza at the Dock! Featuring over 100 artists from the District and beyond, come see new work by local favorites Kelly Towles, Maggie O’Neill, Brandon Hill and Julia Chon in addition to work by national and international artists The Obanoth, 1010, PARADIGM Gallery and MORE! Umbrella is an annual art fair where the heartbeat of Washington, DC’s art scene converges with the avant-garde talents of global artists and makers. It is a declaration of artistic independence, a rebellion against the mundane, and a celebration of the daring. But more importantly, Umbrella is a space to provide economic opportunities for artists and creative entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their works. This year’s Umbrella Art Fair will also include a diverse programming lineup, ranging from CreativeMornings DC to a special Secret Walls art battle featuring all women artists, and more.
