ABOUT THE MICROGRANT
During the last event of the month, SHE:DC Micro-grant finalists will compete for a chance to win micro-grants for their business. This year we will award (2) $1000 grants and a special $2000 Enterprising Women of Color: Women Making SHEstory Award sponsored by Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF). These finalists will be featured at the happy hour, where they will unveil their exciting ideas to the public by giving 3-minute flash talks. Attendees can meet and mingle with these women and other enthusiastic locals, while enjoying beer, wine and cocktails from women producers. The attendees will then choose the final recipients.
