There are few luxuries as transporting as a tray of warm cinnamon rolls. In this masterclass, we will prepare King Arthur’s Perfectly Pillowy Cinnamon Rolls, a recipe beloved by bakers across the country. The dough itself is remarkable, soft and supple, enriched with milk and butter, designed to bake into a tender crumb that holds its shape without heaviness.
Students will learn to work with enriched yeasted doughs, to roll and spread the filling evenly, and to create the delicate spirals that define the roll. Each piece will be filled generously with bold cinnamon sugar and finished with a rich vanilla icing that melts into every layer. Each student will leave with a pan of rolls to bake at home or to freeze for a morning that calls for indulgence.
Class includes an apron, recipe booklet, tray of cinnamon rolls to bake at home, and refreshments during class.
