Mikey Fabian, Executive Chef of Rappahannock Oyster Bar and chef Jennifer Jones are bringing the Chesapeake Bay to the Union Market Test Kitchen for an unforgettable hands-on cooking experience. You’ll make and eat recipes directly from the Rappahannock menu, and from Jennifer’s Grandmother’s Kitchen.

Rapahannock’s Signature Hot Sauce.

Spicy Fish Cakes

Cilantro Remoulade.

Rappahannock Oyster Co. is owned and operated by the Croxton family. Their oysters are served at hundreds of the world’s best restaurants. Known for their eco-consciousness, current owners, Ryan and Travis, recipients of the 2005 Food & Wine Magazine “Tastemaker’s Award,” go beyond “sustainability” to grow their oysters in a way that’s actually restorative to the environment.

Jennifer Jones executes the culinary direction of Cosmopolitan Plated. Drawing inspiration from hours spent in her grandmother’s Atlanta kitchen, she develops recipes and food pairings that are engaging, while healthily indulgent. Currently, she can be found sharing her passion for food and entertaining around the Washington, DC area – preparing menus and teaching at intimate, themed food events.
