Join us for an evening cruise through the city 🚲 The ride begins at Union Market + goes throughout the city, including stops at Nationals Stadium, the Wharf, The National Museum of African American History and Culture, as well as Black Lives Matter Plaza.
Hosted by @silasgrant and @unklescooty, the ride provides a safe alternative to gathering in closed settings and promotes health and wellness along with providing a scenic tour through the District of Columbia.

- A pull-off time will be set for 6:30 pm
- Stick around after the ride for food + drink at Union Market!
- Be sure to bring a mask, water bottle, and bags that have a zipper!
- Helmets are recommended but not mandatory.

Nearly everyone in DC can call Kevin “Unkle Scooty” Hallums family. In addition to being a familiar face to Washingtonians, he’s had a hand in shaping much of the capital’s culture. An Entrepreneur, Influencer, Educator, Mentor, Brand Ambassador and Community-builder that takes a DIY approach to creating opportunities and a road map for the next generation of DC creatives.
ABOUT SILAS GRANT
Silas Grant is a native Washingtonian who serves as a connector and civic activist. Silas serves as an advisor to a variety of leaders and focuses on providing information to leaders that will assist them in better decision making. On a personal note, Silas is the husband of Valerie Grant and father to Mollie Rose Grant. Cycling and walking are two activities that he enjoys.
He and “Scooty” have been friends for ages and are extremely supportive of one another. This biking effort leverages their experience, talent, and relationships to highlight the cultural depth of the Black experience in the District of Columbia.
