During the month of June, Ro the Artist of #4TC will be presenting his large-scale art installation entitled “BIG!” at Union Market District in collaboration with four local Black-owned businesses: DC Puddin’, Boombox Boxing, The Kitchen Jerk and Cool Kids Vinyl.
After powering through the recent pandemic, Ro decided to use his unique artistry in an effort to support local Black-owned businesses. With this attempt to shine a light on businesses alike, the installation will build curiosity and fascination through the placement of almost 10-foot tall logos in one of the most artistic and culturally driven areas in DC.
The installations will be located in front of Union Market and will kick off on Friday June 4th with Toyin Alli, Owner/Chef of DC Puddin’. Each week Ro and the featured businesses will unveil a new experience through his work.
