Join us to pucker up for a purpose at The District Fishwife’s Oyster Kissing Booth! Slurp an oyster, sip wine and learn how oysters help restore our national treasure, The Chesapeake Bay. Stop by on Saturday, April 4 from 1-3 PM at the corner of 5th Street and Neal Place (just opposite Bidwell) and support a great cause. Visitors are encouraged to make a $10 suggested donation to the Oyster Recovery Partnership.
Learn more about the partnership:
The Oyster Recovery Partnership is the leading non-profit dedicated to restoring the Chesapeake Bay’s native oyster population through large-scale restoration and shell recycling. By planting billions of oysters and rebuilding vital reef habitats, they work to naturally filter the Bay’s waters and protect our local marine ecosystem. Every contribution to this mission supports a cleaner, more resilient environment and a thriving future for Maryland’s sustainable seafood industry.
