AVSI-USA invites the community to “A Taste of Mexico with Chef Mendez,” an intimate multi-course dinner by acclaimed Oaxacan chef Alam Méndez. Trained by Chef Elena Arzak and shaped by kitchens in Copenhagen, Mexico City, and D.C., Chef Méndez will serve a menu rooted in his family’s culinary legacy at Las Quince Letras. Guest of Honor Socorro del Rio, Executive Director of Crecemos, will share how nutrition, sports, and music are transforming marginalized communities in Oaxaca. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Crecemos.
