Fatty Sundays is a gourmet chocolate dipped pretzel company founded by sisters Ali and Lauren Borowick in 2010. Inspired by Mom’s sweets and a family tradition of Sunday indulgences, Fatty Sundays is reinventing the chocolate-covered pretzel by introducing modern flavors and creative design elements to the classic treat. Their pretzels are sold nationwide at retailers including Dean & DeLuca. Fatty Sundays has also partnered with noted companies including Kate Spade, MTV and Warby Parker, amongst many others.
Fatty Sundays will also be hosting “Do It Yourself” workshops at the pop-up confectionery each day from 11am-2pm. Marketgoers can great their own sweet and savory masterpieces and take home their very own DIY Pretzel Kit – a great Valentine’s Day activity or “thinking of you” gift.

DC Dosa was born out of the original and authentic South Indian dosa and chutney recipes handed down by Priya Ammu’s mother-in-law. Dosas are rice and lentil-based crepes stuffed with a variety of fillings. They are an immensely popular Indian street food staple. Dosas are vegan and gluten free. While seemingly simple to prepare, they require technique, timing, and a well-developed palate to be done right.
In 2012, Ammu was named winner of DC StartUp Kitchen, a contest designed to support budding local food entrepreneurs sponsored by NURISH and Think Local First DC.
